בחודש מאי 2011 ביצעו כ-45 עובדי איתוראן שיפוץ שני גני ילדים- גן שקד וגן בשן בקריית שמונה.
גן שקד הוא גן של החינוך המיוחד שדורש מתקנים מיוחדים וגן בשן הצמוד אליו, הינו גן ילדים רגיל.
בגן שקד בוצעו עבודות פנים וחוץ בצורה כוללת ומקיפה:
בינוי חדרי שירותים, מקלחת, מטבח, צביעה וציורי קיר, ציפוי לרצפה, לוחות קיר, מזגן ועוד.
בחצר בוצעו עבודות גינון, בניית מתקנים, בניית פרגולה חדשה וחידוש סככה קיימת,
הצבת מתקן שעשועים, בניית מגרש כדורגל ומגרש כדורסל קטנים עם דשא סינטטי, בניית משטחי דק, צביעת מתקנים קיימים ועוד.
בגן בשן ביצעו צביעת פנים, צביעת מתקנים וגדרות ועבודות גינון.
