Ituran FLASH

Ituran FLASH is an advanced system installed in the vehicle that lets drivers know when they’re approaching a speed trap or traffic light with built-in safety camera.

The system signals the driver to slow down and drive at permitted speeds if the vehicle is exceeding the speed limit. Ituran FLASH is connected to the entire database of the speed-camera array deployed across the country, and is updated automatically every time the vehicle is started through Ituran’s fast cellular modem.

As the vehicle approaches a speed trap, Ituran FLASH provides the driver with two types of alerts:

• When approaching at lawful speed, two short beeps are emitted and the indicator light turns on 15 seconds before arriving at the cameras.

• When approaching at prohibited speed, a series of short beeps are emitted, starting 15 seconds prior to reaching the camera. If the driver fails to slow the vehicle, the tempo of the beeps increases about 5 seconds before reaching the camera.

Ituran FLASH operates automatically upon starting the vehicle and continues to do so unless turned off.

Ituran FLASH can save:

• Expensive traffic tickets (hundreds of shekels for speeding offenses)
• License demerit points (up to 10 points per speeding offense)

Ituran FLASH is designed for vehicles running GPS-based Ituran Starlink.
