Ituran SAFETY with Mobileye
Mobileye springs into action whenever the system detects momentary driver inattention to potentially dangerous events and situations, such as lane deviations, danger of hitting a pedestrian or bicyclist, and alerts the driver so that he or she can respond in time to prevent an accident.
The Ituran SAFETY system leads in improving driving behavior and vehicle use by real-time monitoring and long-term analysis of driving behavior.
The integration of both systems enables the prevention of collision incidents by its immediate response mechanism and continuous improvement of driving behavior.
- Mobileye is designed to quickly identify and follow other vehicles, pedestrians and bicycles as the vehicle moves forward. It offers five driver alerts: tailgating, sudden lane deviations; and impending collision with a vehicle, pedestrian or bicycle.
- Alert level matches danger level.
- Ituran SAFETY monitors and records exceptional driving behavior in real time: acceleration, braking, turns, sudden lane change, passing other vehicles, speed, speed-bump crossing, traffic-circle passage and more. All recorded data are integrated for analysis.
