Mapa Mapping and Publishing, established in 1993, operates in two fields:

The Geographic Information Systems Division, leader in this field in Israel, develops and maintains geographic databases for commercial and navigation (GPS) use, under the trade name GISrael.

The Mapa Publishing Division is considered the Israeli leader for atlases, maps and travel guides. Thanks to the high level of cartography of its products, the division has a strong reputation among professionals in this field.

ERM company:

ERM, established in 1985, supplies end-user equipment for protection, location and control to the vehicle market.

Most of the company’s products are end-components for third-party control systems used for distance-control, communications, locating, protection and return of stolen vehicles through GPS- and cellular-based systems.

ERM combines deep technical know-how with hardware, software, engineering and integration experience. The company also offers advanced solutions for fleet management systems, including systems to monitor and control fuel consumption, identify driving quality, remote connection to the vehicle’s computer for real-time data decoding, and most recently, the development of systems for emergency and post-collision assistance.

ERM employs about 80 people in its development center in Rishon Letzion, just south of Tel Aviv. Among its customers are some of the largest protection-and-return companies in the world and companies offering fleet management services. The company operates in many countries of Europe, South America and Africa, as well as the United States. ERM works closely with Ituran’s engineering staff to develop and manufacture future products for remote vehicle protection and control.
